Tickets are now on sale as world No.9 Lottie Woad confirms she will defend her title at the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open taking place at Dundonald Links, July 23-26.

Woad claimed a stunning three-shot victory at last year’s edition on her professional debut, finishing at 21-under-par. The Englishwoman had already impressed earlier that month as an amateur, capturing the LET’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open title before going on to finish tied third at The Amundi Evian Championship.

Following her triumph in Scotland, Woad continued her impressive form with a tied-eighth finish at the AIG Women’s Open the following week, marking her third top-10 finish in just eight major appearances over two years. She has continued that strong form into this season, recording three top-15 finishes and reaching a career-high world ranking of No. 8, all the more remarkable given she only has eight months of professional golf under her belt,

The 22-year-old said: “I’m really excited to return to Dundonald Links this summer. Last year was such a whirlwind, and winning on my professional debut was so special. I spend a lot of time in Scotland with my family, so to win the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open was amazing and definitely my favourite stops on the schedule so far. It’s been an incredible year, so I’m really looking forward to going back and having the chance to defend my title.”

Also joining Woad at this year’s edition is home favourite Gemma Dryburgh, a three-time winner of the Jock MacVicar Leading Scot award (2022, 2023, 2025), who earned six top-20 finishes on the LPGA Tour in 2025. Scottish fans will be hoping she can make a strong showing on home soil this year. She added: “It’s always incredibly special to play in front of a home crowd, and the support I get in Scotland means so much. Dundonald Links is a fantastic venue and a true test of links golf, so I’m really looking forward to being part of such a strong field and putting in a great performance for the fans. It’s been amazing to see how this event has grown from strength to strength over the years.”

The Scottish Government and VisitScotland remain long-standing supporters of women’s golf and recently announced a new funding agreement for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, providing investment to help support the growth and profile of the tournament over the next three years through to 2028.

The 2026 tournament returns to Dundonald Links following a record-breaking event, which welcomed more than 11,000 spectators across the week. This year’s edition will also be the only LPGA Tour event staged in Scotland.

The 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open marks the third year with ISPS HANDA as title sponsor and the fifth consecutive year the tournament has been held at Dundonald Links. The event returned to the Ayrshire venue in 2022 following a multi-million-pound redevelopment that transformed the Verde Resorts venue into one of the UK’s finest golf resorts. Dundonald Links also previously hosted the championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
